Urban Vision welcomes new apprentices

We would like to welcome Ehsan Bastani and Ellis Woodall to Urban Vision following their journeys from Salford City College to a professional life as engineers and technicians.

As Urban Vision supports Salford & Trafford Engineering Group Training Association Ltd (STEGTA) apprenticeship initiative, it means the pair had an ease of balance between studying and practical work in the trade.

We look forward to having these budding engineers join the team!

Ehsan mixed four days a week in the office with a Btec Level 3 day release course studying ‘Construction and Built Environment’ and is now an apprentice technician with us.

He said: “STEGTA have been really helpful to me, informing me of the local job opportunities and I was delighted to begin my career as a construction profession at Urban Vision.”

Ellis joins our Highway Design Team as an Engineering Technician whilst also undertaking a Btec Level 3 day release course on the same course.

He said: “This apprenticeship suited me most as I will be using my initiative in a role that interests me, meaning my work will always be to the highest of standards.”
