Salford’s Traffic-Free Routes shortlisted for CIHT North West Awards

Following on from the success of Salford’s Traffic-Free Routes at the National Transport Awards 2017, Urban Vision and Salford City Council have earned a joint shortlist in two categories at the CIHT North West Awards.

Salford’s impressive network of safe and attractive walking and cycling routes which include Roe Green Loopline and the Bridgewater Way are up for awards in the ‘Environmental’ and ‘Best Practice’ categories. This is the second time that the scheme has been recognised for its great success and congratulations are in order to all involved.

Salford’s Traffic-Free Routes were recognised at the National Transport Awards where they won the Excellence in Cycling and Walking category in September 2017. Urban Vision and Salford City Council are hopeful of a second success at the CIHT Awards.
