Overseeing building regulations of the tallest residential building in Salford Quays

Our Building Control team have recently overseen building regulations completion of the tallest residential building at Salford Quays.

The first residents are expected to move into tower two this summer.

The Building Control team worked closely with main contractor Vermont Construction and architects Falconer Chester Hall to address building regulation compliance through the design and construction phases.

This includes assessment of the bespoke fire safety design relating to means of escape, compartmentation and fire service access.

The 26-storey building comprises 275 apartments together with basement car parking and complements tower one, previously completed in December 2017.
