Dave Jolley is Urban Vision’s Planning and Building Control Director and has extensive experience in working in both the public and private sectors.

Previous to working at Urban Vision, Dave was the Assistant Director of Building & Development Control at Salford City Council where he led a Best Value Review of the service that achieved high praise by the Audit Commission. Over 50 local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales now continually use Urban Vision’s Development Control Services as they acknowledge the significant benefits obtained from Dave’s advice and support.

Dave’s other experience involves:
• Establishing a service that manages planning policy across several councils.
• Introducing a new service that has managed several local authorities’ development control services.
• Providing executive leadership to the Greater Manchester Geological Minerals and Waste Planning team who work closely with planning teams in delivering the very challenging Development Plan Documents for the 10 authorities of Greater Manchester.
