Launch of Employee Volunteering Scheme

As part of Urban Vision’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and community engagement, we’re delighted to announce the launch of our Employee Volunteering Scheme across our entire organisation.
This scheme will enable interested employees to get involved in volunteering activities for one working day per annum within the Salford area. We’re hopeful that this scheme will provide our staff with the opportunity to use their skills, resources and expertise to participate in volunteering projects that will help to create better tomorrows for our local community and empower our staff to make a difference.
Effective communication is fundamental to promoting better community relations and this is why Urban Vision is committed to improvement in engaging with our local communities.
We’re working closely with Salford Foundation to promote a wide range of volunteering opportunities for staff to get involved in across the City, including local community groups, charity organisations and schools that may not have the resources to achieve certain tasks by themselves. We are so proud to be able to be demonstrate our commitment to playing an active part in the local community and building a more prosperous, healthy and safer community for all and we can’t wait to get stuck in!
Jonathan Ellis, Operations Director, Urban Vision.
"If ever there was a time to undertake this initiative it's now and I'm delighted that Urban Vision is able to offer our support to the many deserving community groups and initiatives across Salford. This is a really important matter for me and my staff and giving back to neighbourhoods and communities really can make an enormous difference especially in these difficult times"
