Urban Vision Trial New Pot Hole Technology

Urban Vision has recently trialed a new road repairs system that enables work to be carried out on the area’s roads more quickly and more cost effectively than ever before.

The Nu-Phalt system repairs surface defects through an environmentally friendly infrared process that recycles the existing materials to create a seamless and longer lasting repair. 

This is the first time the system has been tried within Salford and if successful, its use will reduce the cost of materials considerably.

Steven Lee, Director of Engineering, Urban Vision says: “Road safety, traffic disruption and tripping claims are key priorities for both the community and Salford City Council. By exploring new innovative and sustainable repair methods, Urban Vision is helping the Council to improve road safety, reduce traffic delays and save money, as well as achieve it’s overall carbon reduction targets ”
