Traffic management

Urban Vision’s Traffic Management group’s mission is to enable the safe and expeditious movement of all traffic, including cyclists and pedestrians, through the provision of a comprehensive traffic management and transportation service.
 
Responsible for the management of traffic on all of Salford’s road transport networks, we develop highway improvements, bus corridors, bus and cycle routes, local safety schemes, public transport interchanges, public realm works, community parking zones and any works requiring compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act.

In collaboration with other departments of Urban Vision, we also play an active role in assessing the traffic implications of development proposals for regeneration and assist with appraisals, feasibility studies and development studies for Single Regeneration Area and New Deal for Communities initiatives.
