Public rights of way

Working with the authority of Salford City Council, Urban Vision’s Public Rights of Way (PROW) team is responsible for maintaining the definitive public rights of way network. We keep each individual public footpath, bridleway and byway free from obstruction and fully compliant with regulations.

Working within legislation such as Highways Act (1980), Wildlife and Countryside Act (1981) and Countryside and Rights of Way Act (2000), we are responsible for maintaining the legal record of these paths, known as the Definitive Maps and Statements.
