Mineral and waste planning

Urban Vision’s Minerals and Waste Planning team provides an essential service for future mineral extraction, waste treatment and disposal activities, in order to minimise the possible damage and disruption to local communities and the environment.

Responsible for dealing with all minerals and waste planning matters, the team offers the following services:

• Consultation on planning applications – including applications for waste management facilities such as recycling, composting, landfills and mineral extraction developments such as extensions to existing quarries
• Strategic planning support for policies relating specifically to minerals and waste issues
• Monitoring of mineral and waste sites for compliance with planning conditions and support of enforcement action against unauthorised developments
