Design of highways schemes

Covering all stages from risk assessment through to programming of works and implementation, the Engineering Design team at Urban Vision undertakes the design of major and minor highway projects. With many years of practical experience on works, ranging from small-scale specific projects through to major schemes requiring statutory procedures and Public Inquiries, we can provide guidance and assistance in areas such as:

• Design
• Contract documents, bills of quantity, site inspection, certification of accounts
• Assessment of highway proposals for suitability of adoption
• Topographical surveys

Calling on the broad experience within the team, we handle design projects that deal with major and minor highway improvements (£12m-5k), traffic calming, highway resurfacing schemes, car parks, pedestrianisation schemes, canal side and riverside walkways, external works to buildings and environmental improvements.
