Commercial Estate and Asset Management

Our Commercial Estate Management team has significant experience in the full range of estate management activities, including all aspects of landlord and tenant legislation.

We provide advice to clients and undertake comprehensive valuations – including statutory valuations, property review work, implementation of asset management planning and data management.

We currently handle 450 managed properties and a range of ground rents across a number of portfolios for Salford City Council and GMP, and also boast a growing list of other public sector clients.

Assisting our clients to make more efficient use of retained and new offices, we have undertaken the rationalisation and implementation of corporate space standards and successfully reduced the number of buildings within their portfolio, whilst improving service delivery.

Examples of our recent work include:

• Management of Salford City Council’s commercial estate including Salford University Business Park and Salford Innovation Forum (rent roll circa £4.2m)
• Office accommodation per/person for Salford City Council reduced from 18m2 /person in 2001 – circa 11m2 /person in 2007
