Building surveying

Specialising in the educational, social services and corporate property sectors, the Building Surveying team offers a fully-integrated service to guide clients through the construction process – from concept and feasibility through to design, procurement and construction. We also provide a general advisory service to clients who occupy or have dealings with property, taking on a range of functions dealing with estate management, lease and purchasing of property.

We offer clients a broad range of professional expertise within all aspects of building surveying, including design, project management, implementation of refurbishment, maintenance management and planned programmed maintenance.

Through a close association with Salford City Council, we are currently involved in designing and managing a wide range of schemes including extensions, alterations, refurbishments, re-roofing, window replacement, boilers and heating distribution replacement.

Supported by a strong team of highly skilled building surveyors, and mechanical and electrical engineers, we are also able to offer consultancy, design, procurement, contract administration, project management and maintenance services to clients working within education premises.

We are proud to have been involved in the following key projects:

• Salford Civic Centre, main reception refurbishment and re-model – design, tendering and supervision of phased works; maintained an operational reception facility throughout
• Irlam Swimming Pool, alterations and refurbishment – initial feasibility and bid for funding through to contract management of works
• Flat to pitch roof conversion at Canon Williamson High School – design, tendering and supervision of works
